The Hampton Social Chicago

Oysters, pizza, steak, rosè all day and the best fries in Chicago,– find it all in The Hampton Social in River North and Streeterville.

The one in the River North happened to be located a block away from where I live, so it has become one of my favorite places for brunches on Sundays and dinners on Fridays. Designed as a flagship indoors, this restaurant became very popular from the day it has opened in 2015. No wonder why, as it’s located right across the street from the East Bank Club–the biggest and the fanciest social gym club in Chicago.

It’s hard to say what’s a better time to visit it and what its special meal is. It’s supposed to be popular with its seafood, but I still come there for margarita pizza or steak. So you will never get wrong if you order NOT seafood there. The same about timing: you’ll find it crowded if you come there for brunch on Sunday, happy hour on Thursday or late dinner on Friday…  The best way to plan your first visit is check their calendar or simply subscribe to their events and specials and stay up-to-date.

Very often they have live acoustic performances. You can come there for a dinner or just a drink to a bar or lounge area. You got it all at The Hampton Social. 😉

This time I and a friend of mine Consuelo Vega are taking Apollo Reyes, rocking photographer from California, out for a dinner and, of course, a glass of Rosè. It’s been a long week of working on multiple projects in Chicago together, and The Hampton Social is perfect place to celebrate our productive week.
